Crystal Peterson is Chief Operating Officer at Bexa and Co-Chair of The Bexa Equity Alliance.
Offering more than two decades of senior executive leadership in both start ups and high growth organizations, Crystal is passionate about building mission-driven, inclusive, and diverse teams that deliver exceptional results.
Sought out for her strategic acumen, Human Resources, Operations, and ability to scale outstanding service delivery, Crystal has worked across industries and both domestically and internationally.
Prior to Bexa, Crystal was Chief Human Resources Officer at one of the largest nationwide in-home behavioral health companies and led the Talent Management function for a publicly traded value based care Oncology practice.She has been recognized for her leadership on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and with her teams, worked to remove unconscious bias from corporate hiring practices. In 2017 she spoke before the California Commission for Economic Development regarding the importance of building a diverse workforce as part of developing the growing tech economy in Southern California. As Vice President and one of the founding employees at Specialists On Call, now TeleMed, Crystal grew the company from 4 employees to over 600 before it was sold to Warburg Pincus in 2015. Her work at SOC gave patients the opportunity to access best in class specialty physician care, regardless of his or her insurance coverage or address.
Following her undergraduate studies at the University of Portland and La Sierra University, she pursued a graduate degree in Public Health focusing on health equity and bridging the socio-economic gap in maternal care.
A proud mother of five, wife, and advocate for women’s rights, she continues her volunteer work with When We All Vote, Girls on the Run, and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in honor of her late father and father in law.
